Overview:
This 3 Port HDMI switch with audio out allows user to switch 3 HD sources to 1 HD display. Also it extracts the digital audio from HDMI and outputs it via optical SPDIF and/or RCA L / R stereo audio. The unit supports ARC function that can upstream audio from TV by HDMI cable connection and output through SPDIF out (TV connected to HDMI output of the unit must support ARC, and HDMI v1.4 cable is required).
Three EDID settings:- 2CH PCM stereo audio can be converted to 2CH analog stereo and output through RCA L/R and SPDIF at the same time.
- Set EDID to “5.1CH” for Dolby Digital / DTS to output audio via SPDIF out; The RCA L/R output will not have sound if incoming audio is multi-channel audio . SPDIF does NOT support Dolby Digital Plus. For these, do not set the audio output as 5.1 Dolby Digital Plus in your devices.
- The HDMI output has identical video and audio signals as the HDMI input. HDMI supports all audio formats including Dolby Digital Plus, 5.1CH/7.1CH PCM and HD Audio (including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio). For these audio formats, set EDID to “Advanced”, and connect output to AV receiver directly.
- Allows up to 3 HDMI sources to be connected to 1 HDMI display and select the input by remote;
- 3 audio EDID settings: 2.0CH/5.1CH/Advanced. SPDIF Output supports up to 5.1CH Dolby Digital, DTS Audio; Analog RCA output supports 2CH PCM stereo audio;
- Supports ARC, audio is available from the SPDIF Output); HDMI Supports Ultra HD, Full HD 1080P, full 3D and HD audio;
- Plug & Play; Durable metal enclosure; Free lifetime technical support and one-year warranty by J-Tech Digital!

Seems well made, works exactly as I wanted. Battery for remote was dead but very minor issue. Outputs audio from Roku to wireless headset for late night viewing.

Excellent product. Solid build, easy to setup and use. 2x HDMI inputs (game console and computer input) to 1x HDMI output; allows me to switch video and audio for either input. The audio is extracted from the game console (only when switched to it) and runs to the line-in on my computer, in order to use my computer speakers for both systems.

Worked well with my Samsung 720p TV which had no audio out capability. Using the splitter switch to extract HDMI audio to the RCA outputs for use with Bluetooth headset – works great

Works perfect with my (PS4), (Samsung Blu-ray player), (PS3), (xBox-one), (Roku 3) to (LED 1080p Samsung TV). I didn’t have to set anything up. I get RCA analog sound out to my Pre-Amp, Amp, to speakers (Carver) …to get great streaming sound from my (Roku 3) with lossless music files, and 1080p MP4 Movie/TV files. Plus I still get sound on my TV speakers simultaneously if i wanted. All of my components get sound from my RCA Amp to speakers, and the HDMI outs to TV speakers at same time. There are no pain in the butt switching sound inputs and outputs. I just keep it on 2ch out. Then it arcs automatic out of the digital-optical to get 5.1 Dolby-Digital with my soundbar for blu-ray movies. Its also ready for upgrade to all 4K components. The build of it is solid and kinda heavy witch i like. Its not a cheap plastic junk. Its all metal construction. I was expecting some kinda problem as you may know what its like with splinters and converters… there are always issues… But this thing was perfect …I hooked everything up and all worked first try. I had to pinch myself to see if i was dreaming 😉
