The
JTD4KAT0301SW allows for up to 3 source devices to be connected to a single display, while extracting the audio to a sound system via SPDIF/Optical or L/R Analog
- Setup (Using ARC functionality):
Please note that ARC function is only enabled via SPDIF/Optical cable connection, and will not work via L/R analog audio out
- Using an HDMI cable, connect the source device (Cable box, Blu-ray player etc.) to any of the “HDMI Input” ports of the extractor
- Using an HDMI cable, connect the “HDMI Output” of the extractor to the “ARC HDMI Input” of the display
- Using an Optical cable, connect the extractor to the sound equipment
- Press the “ARC” button on the front panel of the extractor. The ARC light will illuminate to verify that ARC is enabled
- Verify that CEC is enabled in the display settings
- Setup (Without ARC Functionality):
*Note: Simultaneous audio from SPDIF and Analog audio outputs can be achieved if all the source devices are outputting PCM/Stereo audio format, and the extractor is set to “
2CH”
- Using an HDMI cable, connect the source device (Cable box, Blu-ray player etc.) to any of the “HDMI Input” ports of the extractor
- Using an HDMI cable, connect the “HDMI Output” of the extractor to the “ARC HDMI Input” of the display
- Using an Optical or an RCA cable, connect the extractor to the sound equipment. Please note that RCA analog audio only support PCM Stereo audio format
- If using analog audio output port, verify that the audio output setting on the source device is set to PCM Stereo. Also verify that the Audio Selection indicator is set to 2.0
- The “ARC Indicator” verifies whether ARC mode is enabled or disabled. It can be turned on or off using the “ARC” button
- The “Audio Selection Indicator” verifies the EDID setting the HDMI switch is providing the source device. 2CH (PCM Stereo) or 5.1CH Multichannel audio EDID
- If neither the 2.0 or 5.1 light indicator is turned off, the switch is passing the display’s EDID information to the source device
- The “HDMI Input Indicator” reflects the currently active source device connected to that particular input. Users can toggle through the inputs using the “Switch” button
- Source devices (Cable box, Blu-ray players etc.) can be connected in HDMI Inputs “1”, “2”, or “3”
- Display is connected to the “HDMI Output” port. If utilizing the ARC functionality, please verify that “HDMI Output” port connects to the “ARC HDMI Input” port of the display
- “SPDIF” audio output port utilizes an optical cable to connect to the sound equipment
- “L/R” Analog Audio output port utilizes analog cables to connect to the sound equipment
