Overview:With the JTDHDEX1x4 you have the ability of not only splitting your source to 4 displays but the capability to extend the distance from your source to your displays as well. Utilizing the JTDHDEX1x4 as a splitter/extender combo allows you to extend the distance from source to display up to 164 feet (50 meters) while also allowing you to connect a local monitor via the HDMI Loop Out on the transmitter unit. Control your source device such as a Blu-ray player Cable box or Apple TV from the location of your display with the IR passthrough function of the JTDHDEX1x4 and control your display from the location of your source device using the Bi-directional capability of the IR passthrough for maximum convenience.
