How to Guide: JTECH-AET1000 [JTD-378] – Digital Audio Extender

The JTECH-AET1000 Digital Audio Extender allows customers to extend their optical or coaxial audio signal up to 900ft. over Ethernet (Cat5e/6). The extender supports audio formats such as Dolby Digital, DTS 5.1, DTS-HD, and Stereo/PCM, along with Power over Ethernet (PoE), where only the transmitter requires DC 5V power adapter, and the receiver gets power over the Ethernet cable     Package Contents:

• 1 x Digital Audio Extender Transmitter
• 1 x Digital Audio Extender Receiver
• 1 x DC 5V/1A Power Adapter
• 1 x User Manual

Required Accessories:

• Cat5e/6 UTP Ethernet Cable
• Optical Cable or Coaxial Cable (Based on customer’s needs)

  Panel Information:     Setup:

• Connect the input source device to the Transmitter using either Optical or Coaxial cable
• Connect the DC 5V/1A power adapter to the Transmitter
• Connect the Transmitter to the Receiver using an Ethernet Cable
• Connect the Receiver to the sound equipment using either Optical or Coaxial cable

Please Note
*Audio output on the Receiver is simultaneous from both Optical and Coaxial ports
